Tarauba: Indian captain Hardik Pandya said that the basic facilities were not prepared for the Indian team that came for the West Indies tour. Hardik said that Windies cricket authorities should have paid more attention in this regard. We did not ask for luxuries. But Hardik said following the match that they need to be a little more careful in preparing the infrastructure.

In the absence of Rohit, Hardik-led India crushed the West Indies by 200 runs to win the three-match ODI series 2-1. Hardik scored an unbeaten 70 off 52 balls.

“It was one of the better grounds we played at. Things will be better next time we come to Windies. Similar things happened last year too when Windies came on tour. It’s time for the West Indies Cricket Board to take notice of that,” Pandya said following the match.

The Indian team had expressed its displeasure to the BCCI following the flight was delayed by four hours for the first match of the tour of the West Indies.

Batting first in the last match, India scored 351 runs for the loss of five wickets. Shubman Gill (85), Ishan Kishan (77) and Sanju Samson (51) scored half-centuries. In reply, India made West Indies all out for 151 runs.
