The third and last day of the Festival of Beauty in Nowy Sącz, the Main Partner of which is the Małopolska Province represented by Jadwiga Wójtowicz, Vice-Chairwoman of the Małopolska Regional Assembly, is behind us. During Saturday’s Final Gala, Miss Supranational 2024 was chosen. The crown for the most beautiful woman in the world went to the representative of Indonesia. Harashta Haifa Zahra is 20 years old and comes from Garut in Indonesia. She is currently defending her bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering at the National Bandung Institute of Technology. Her greatest passion is dancing and singing.
Miss Supranational is a competition that has been held in Poland almost since its inception. The title in the prestigious international competition, in which 68 women from all over the world competed, was awarded during a ceremonial gala at the Festival of Beauty in Nowy Sącz. The crown was worn by Harashta Haifa Zahra from Indonesia. Poland was represented in the Miss Supranational 2024 elections by Angelika Jurkowianiec.
At the beginning of Saturday’s Final Gala, each of the Misses had the opportunity to greet the audience and briefly introduce herself. The hosts of the evening were Katarzyna Kołeczek, Nico Panagio and Aleksander Sikora. The expert panel included Ewa Wachowicz (Miss Polonia 1992 and host of the program “Ewa gotuje” on Polsat TV), Katarzyna Jonaczyk (three-time Last Woman Standing in Ninja Warrior Polska and world champion in OCR obstacle course running), Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen (2nd Runner-up of Miss Supranational 2022), Edyta Folwarska (author of novels for women and journalist), Robert Czepiel (official jeweler of Miss Supranational), Daria Marx (singer), Ivan Alvarez (Mister Supranational 2023), Andrea Aguilera (Miss Supranational 2023), Fezile Mkhize (Mister Supranational 2024) and Gerhard Parzutka von Lipiński (founder and CEO of the Miss Supranational organization). In the meantime, when the audience had the opportunity to meet the candidates, the musical star of the Miss Supranational 2024 gala – Alizee – appeared on stage. The French singer recalled her greatest hit “Moi… Lolita”, which was successful in many countries, including Poland.
Returning to the elections of the most beautiful woman in the world, it is worth recalling that the candidates for the crown presented themselves in creations containing elements referring to the culture and history of the represented country. It was very colorful and diverse. The representative of Poland, Angelika Jurkowianiec, appeared in a spectacular white and red dress. Immediately followingwards, it was time for the first decisions. After a spectacular show, all the candidates appeared on stage. From among them, the panel of experts selected the TOP 25. And unfortunately, Angelika Jurkowianiec said goodbye to the competition at this stage. After another artistic part, the candidates for the title of Miss Supranational 2024 took over the stage once more, this time presenting themselves in swimsuits. Then it was time for the next decisions of the Jury: 25 candidates appeared on stage in white outfits and twelve women were indicated who might still count on the Miss Supranational 2024 crown. The candidates selected in this way presented themselves in evening gowns. Class, chic, elegance – this is how the whole thing can be summed up. The show was accompanied by a performance by Mateusz Ziółko, who sang John Legend’s song “All of Me”.
The next stage of the competition has come, in which, following the Jury’s decision, we have learned the TOP 5. This group included Miss from Brazil, Curacao, the Czech Republic, Indonesia and the United States. After another series of questions answered by the final five candidates, the time for the finals began. All the participants of the Miss Supranational Final Gala gathered on the stage of the Amphitheatre of Strzelecki Park. Before we learned the answer to the most important question of the evening, it was time to award the continental titles: Africa – Bryoni Govender (South Africa), America – Andrea Saenz (Mexico), Asia and Oceania – Alethea Ambrosio (Philippines), Caribbean – Fiorella Medina (Puerto Rico), Europe – Victoria Larsen (Denmark).
A moment later, everything became clear.

Miss Supranational 2024 winner Harashta Haifa Zahrama is 20 years old and comes from Garut, Indonesia. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering at the National Bandung Institute of Technology. Her greatest passion is dancing and singing, and she loves the stage. Representing Indonesia at Miss Supranational made her realize that you can achieve anything in life. As an environmental activist, she is the founder of the Mother of Nature Foundation, which addresses the issue of food waste. She would like to see food waste in Indonesia reduced. Along with her duties as the Indonesian ambassador for SOS (SCHOLARS OF SUSTENANCE), an international food rescue foundation, she aims to change society’s attitudes towards food waste and unhealthy lifestyles, especially among children, to help reduce the effects of climate change and food insecurity.
The 2024 Beauty Festival was organized and implemented by Nowa Scena. The event was produced by Telewizja Polsat, the Main Partner was the Małopolska Province, and the host city was Nowy Sącz.
