A month following being launched at the Toronto Film Festival, the film Happy Daysthe third feature film by director Chloé Robichaud, had its Montreal premiere Monday evening at the Théâtre Maisonneuve at Place des arts.
The filmmaker walked the red carpet in the company of the stars of her film, including Sophie Desmarais, Nour Belkhiria, Maude Guérin, Sylvain Marcel, Vincent Leclerc, Yves Jacques, Katherine Levac, Jean-Philippe Baril-Guérard and Ariel Charest.
Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin, who participated in the project as artistic advisor and musical consultant, also attended the screening, along with members of the Orchester Métropolitain, who appear in the film.
Third feature film by Chloé Robichaud (Sarah prefers running, Country), Happy Days tells the story of a young, rising conductor (Sophie Desmarais) who has a toxic relationship with her father and agent (Sylvain Marcel). The film opens across Quebec on Friday.
