Happiness after Cancer Quenching: Inspiring Stories of Patients Fighting Cancer and Finding Strength

2023-11-04 16:42:20

On this journey of fighting cancer, I saw many patients in the hospital who were fighting for themselves just like me. In the cancer ward, I saw many touching stories of cancer patients…

her story

One time that left a deep impression on me was when I was hospitalized. A girl (pseudonym: Xiaojing) who was about the same age as me lived next door to me. When I first saw Xiaojing, her face was very pale and her body looked very… He was weak and all his hair fell out due to the side effects of chemotherapy drugs.

Xiaojing was struggling to drag the IV stand that was stuck on the hospital bed. I quickly stepped forward to help her pull out the trapped IV stand. Later, we naturally talked about our respective cancer journeys.

It turns out that Xiaojing is a breast cancer patient. Two years ago, a small tumor was discovered in her breast. At that time, the doctor told her: “This is a very common benign tumor. It is a 0.1 cm hydrotumor. Don’t worry, just follow it up once a year.”

From benign hydromas to malignant breast cancer

Xiaojing didn’t take it seriously at the time. Five months later, she found signs of tumor growth and obvious pain. So Xiaojing went to the doctor for a check-up, and finally the tumor was surgically removed. After laboratory tests, the doctor told her: “You are currently in the third stage of triple-negative breast cancer, and there are signs of lymphatic metastasis.”

After hearing this, I found it unbelievable. How could a benign tumor turn into a cancer cell inexplicably in less than half a year? It was also a highly malignant triple-negative breast cancer with lymphatic metastasis…

Xiaojing told me:“It was precisely because I got this cancer that I discovered that there are actually many people who love me in this world. Everything I took for granted before, but now when I look back, I realize that I am a happy person.”

After listening to Xiaojing’s words, I shed tears silently. In addition to admiring Xiaojing’s bravery, I am even more touched????

People often learn to cherish the present and the future better after losing some beautiful past. That is to say, after meeting Xiaojing, I became more powerful on this journey of fighting cancer, because I was no longer alone in my heart.

Movie “Life Events”: “As long as you really believe it, you will be the happiest person.”

Whenever I am tortured by cancer pain and feel a little world-weary, I will think: “If I hold on a little longer, there are still many people who love me waiting for me to get better. I can’t let them down!”

Therefore, I would like to tell readers who are fighting cancer and working hard to care for and accompany patients: “We are not alone at all. As long as we stay optimistic, believe in ourselves, and continue to introduce new cancer treatment drugs. Hold on! We will succeed one day .”
