Prospective Deiyai Regent Candidate Melkianus Mote expressed his gratitude for the support he received from the DPP Hanura Party as a Candidate for Deiyai Regent 2024-2029. The recommendation was given to Melkianus Mote through letter No. RK/899/DPP-Hanura/VI/2024 which was signed directly by the Chairman of the DPP Hanura Oesman Sapta and the Secretary General of the DPP Hanura Benny Ramdani.

“I certainly express my gratitude for the support given by the Hanura Party in this nomination process. I will be responsible for this trust through political work both in society and communication with other parties,” Melkianus told reporters, Sunday (14/7).

Melkianus had previously received recommendations from PPP, PBB and PKN. According to him, this is a good opportunity to align views and thoughts in developing Deiyai Regency in the future.

“Because our spirit is mutual cooperation which we call Enaimo Ekowai for Deiyai, of course the more political parties that join, the better. Building Deiyai in the future must be done together, including the strength of political parties,” explained Melkianus.

For him, PPP, PBB, PKN and Hanura Party are political parties that have a basis for fighting to serve the interests of the community. This is in line with his efforts to realize a more advanced and prosperous Deiyai Regency.

“Because in any case, our future leadership as Regent will be more effective if we also mobilize the power of political parties. And I assure you that for me, parties are not merely political vehicles but the power of development itself. Political parties are part of development work,” Melkianus explained.

In the context of future nominations, Melki continued, his party is still opening up opportunities for support and cooperation with other parties such as Gerindra and PKB, including non-seat parties (those that do not get seats in the Deiyai Regency DPRD).

“Our communication continues to be built so that Gerindra and PKB can provide recommendations to me. Regarding optimism in winning the Pilkada, of course, I am very optimistic. Up to this point, public support for us continues to flow. This is a very strong capital,” concluded Melkianus. (Z-8)
