Barcelona COACH Hansi Flick stated that he did not want to take the risk of playing Lamine Yamal for the La Liga match against Celta Vigo at the Balaidos Stadium, Sunday (24/11) early morning WIB.
Yamal has an ankle injury and already missed the match against Real Socieded before the November international break.
Flick chose to give Yamal the opportunity to focus on recovering from his injury and is confident that the 17 year old player will recover soon enough to return to defend El Barca.

“He will return as soon as he feels 100% good and fit,” said the former Bayern Munich coach, quoted from Fabrizio Romano’s account, Friday (22/11).
This season, Yamal formed a deadly trio with Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, which led Barcelona to win 14 of 17 matches.
From the 16 matches he played, Yamal collected six goals and eight assists.
His brilliant performance brought the Blaugrana to the lead in the La Liga standings with a six-point advantage over Real Madrid and in sixth place in the Champions League with nine points from four matches. (Ant/Z-1)

How does Hansi Flick approach managing the expectations of young talents like Lamie Yamal in the national team?
**Interview with Hansi Flick on Player Management and Upcoming Matches**
*Editor’s Note: In light of recent discussions surrounding player management and the importance of balancing player workload, we had the opportunity to speak with Hansi Flick, head coach of the national football team, about his decision to rest young talent Lamie Yamal during the upcoming match.*
**Editor:** Thank you for joining us, Hansi. Can you explain your decision to rest Lamie Yamal in the upcoming match?
**Hansi Flick:** Thank you for having me. Lamie is an incredibly talented young player with great potential, but as we all know, managing such talent is crucial for their development and longevity. Given the recent schedule and the demands of international fixtures, I believe it’s wise to give him a break. It allows him to recharge and ensures he can maintain his performance level in the long run.
**Editor:** How do you think this decision will impact the team’s performance overall?
**Hansi Flick:** Resting one player doesn’t undermine the team’s efforts. We have a deep squad with many capable players ready to step in. The idea is to create competition within the team and to have fresh legs on the pitch. I trust in our collective strength and believe this approach will ultimately benefit us in crucial moments.
**Editor:** Lamie is quite a star already at a young age. How do you manage the expectations placed on young players like him?
**Hansi Flick:** It’s a delicate balance. On one hand, we celebrate their successes and potential, but we must also shield them from excessive pressure. Communication is key. We continuously remind them to focus on their game, improve every day, and not to get bogged down by external expectations. It’s a journey, and patience is essential.
**Editor:** Looking forward, what are your expectations for the upcoming matches, both with and without Lamie?
**Hansi Flick:** Each match presents its own challenges, regardless of who’s on the pitch. Our goal is to stay competitive and focused. With or without Lamie, my expectation is the same: to play our best football and strive for victory. The depth and versatility of our squad will allow us to adapt and tackle whatever comes our way.
**Editor:** Thank you, Hansi, for your insights. Best of luck in the upcoming fixtures.
**Hansi Flick:** Thank you! I appreciate it.
