Barcelona COACH Hansi Flick stated that he did not want to take the risk of playing Lamine Yamal for the La Liga match against Celta Vigo at the Balaidos Stadium, Sunday (24/11) early morning WIB.
Yamal has an ankle injury and already missed the match against Real Socieded before the November international break.
Flick chose to give Yamal the opportunity to focus on recovering from his injury and is confident that the 17 year old player will recover soon enough to return to defend El Barca.

“He will return as soon as he feels 100% good and fit,” said the former Bayern Munich coach, quoted from Fabrizio Romano’s account, Friday (22/11).
This season, Yamal formed a deadly trio with Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, which led Barcelona to win 14 of 17 matches.
From the 16 matches he played, Yamal collected six goals and eight assists.
His brilliant performance brought the Blaugrana to the lead in the La Liga standings with a six-point advantage over Real Madrid and in sixth place in the Champions League with nine points from four matches. (Ant/Z-1)

How might the team’s performance be affected by Lamie Yamal’s absence, and which players could step up in his place?
**Interview with Sports Analyst: Hansi Flick and His Decision to Rest Lamie Yamal**
**Interviewer:** Thank you for joining us today. We are here to discuss an important decision made by Hansi Flick regarding Lamie Yamal. Flick has announced that he will rest Yamal for the upcoming matches. What do you think about this decision?
**Analyst:** Thank you for having me. I think resting Lamie Yamal is a prudent choice by Hansi Flick. Yamal has been a standout performer recently, but young players often need careful management to prevent burnout and injuries. By giving him time to recover, Flick is prioritizing both Yamal’s long-term development and the team’s overall performance.
**Interviewer:** Indeed, player management is crucial, especially for someone as young as Yamal. How do you think this decision will impact the team’s dynamics on the field?
**Analyst:** Resting a key player can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, Yamal’s absence might limit the team’s attacking options, as he’s demonstrated significant skill and impact in recent games. On the other hand, it provides an opportunity for other players to step up. This could foster a more competitive environment in training and matches as players vie for that strategic position on the field.
**Interviewer:** Very interesting points. Flick also has to consider upcoming competitions. Do you think this resting period is strategically aligned with their goals for the season?
**Analyst:** Absolutely. With a busy schedule ahead, managing player workload is essential. This approach not only helps in keeping players healthy but also allows Flick to experiment with tactics and lineups. If the team performs well even without Yamal, it will build depth and confidence, which is crucial as the season progresses.
**Interviewer:** what should fans expect in Yamal’s absence? Any potential players you see stepping into his role effectively?
**Analyst:** Fans can expect a slightly different tactical setup. Other wingers or attacking players might get more playing time, such as someone like [insert potential player’s name], who has been waiting for a chance to shine. It’ll be exciting to see how Flick adapts his strategy without Yamal, and I believe it could provide some unexpected thrills in the upcoming matches.
**Interviewer:** Thank you for sharing your insights! It sounds like an exciting time for the team and its fans.
**Analyst:** Thank you for having me! It’s always fascinating to discuss these strategic elements of sports.
