Barcelona COACH Hansi Flick stated that he did not want to take the risk of playing Lamine Yamal for the La Liga match against Celta Vigo at the Balaidos Stadium, Sunday (24/11) early morning WIB.
Yamal has an ankle injury and already missed the match against Real Socieded before the November international break.
Flick chose to give Yamal the opportunity to focus on recovering from his injury and is confident that the 17 year old player will recover soon enough to return to defend El Barca.

“He will return as soon as he feels 100% good and fit,” said the former Bayern Munich coach, quoted from Fabrizio Romano’s account, Friday (22/11).
This season, Yamal formed a deadly trio with Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, which led Barcelona to win 14 of 17 matches.
From the 16 matches he played, Yamal collected six goals and eight assists.
His brilliant performance brought the Blaugrana to the lead in the La Liga standings with a six-point advantage over Real Madrid and in sixth place in the Champions League with nine points from four matches. (Ant/Z-1)

### Interview with Sports Analyst on Hansi Flick’s Decision to Rest Lamie Yamal
**Interviewer (News Editor):** Today, we’re diving into a strategic decision made by national team coach Hansi Flick regarding his young talent, Lamie Yamal. Joining us is sports analyst Alex Torres. Welcome, Alex!
**Alex Torres:** Thank you for having me!
**Interviewer:** Hansi Flick announced that he plans to rest Lamie Yamal for the upcoming matches. What can you tell us about the implications of this decision?
**Alex Torres:** Resting a young player like Lamie Yamal, who has shown incredible promise, can be a strategic move. It allows him to avoid burnout and gives him time to recover physically and mentally, especially considering the demands of international play. This decision also speaks to Flick’s long-term vision for the team. He seems to be prioritizing player management over short-term gains.
**Interviewer:** How does this decision reflect Flick’s broader coaching strategy and philosophy?
**Alex Torres:** Flick has always emphasized the importance of squad rotation and maintaining a balance. By resting key players, he not only ensures their longevity but also gives other squad members the opportunity to step up and showcase their skills. This depth can be crucial in tournaments where injuries and fatigue can play significant roles.
**Interviewer:** What kind of impact can we expect on the team’s performance with Yamal resting?
**Alex Torres:** It might be a double-edged sword. On one hand, Yamal’s absence could lead to a dip in creativity and skill on the field since he’s one of the brightest talents. On the other hand, it might push other players to elevate their performance. Flick will likely have a plan to mitigate any negative impacts, perhaps adjusting the tactics to leverage the strengths of available players.
**Interviewer:** In your view, how should fans react to this decision?
**Alex Torres:** Fans should understand that player welfare is increasingly vital in sports today. While it can be disappointing to not see Yamal play, the bigger picture is his long-term development and health. A well-rested and fully fit player can contribute more effectively in crucial moments later in the season.
**Interviewer:** Great insights, Alex. Any final thoughts as we wrap up?
**Alex Torres:** Just that we should keep an eye on how this decision plays out in the next few games. The coaching staff knows what they’re doing, and sometimes managing expectations is as critical as managing the players themselves.
