The IAA Transportation in Hanover (September 25, 2022) is also the venue for the announcement of the commercial vehicles of the year. The VW ID Buzz Cargo was named “Van of the Year 2023”. The title “Truck of the Year” went to the new distribution truck DAF XD, while the MAN Lion’s City E was voted “Bus of the Year”. Daimler Truck received the “2023 Truck Innovation Award” for the battery-electric Mercedes-Benz e-Actros Long Haul long-distance truck.
