Previously, Hanoi University of Education and Saint Tak University had some initial exchanges and cooperation. Hanoi University of Education sent lecturers to Saint Tak University to conduct a number of studies on early childhood education and early education models for children.

Associate Professor Nguyen Van Hien, chairman of the Hanoi Council of Universities of Education, said at the meeting that Saint Vincent University is a school specialising in training kindergarten teachers and organising practical kindergartens.

According to Hien, Saint Tak University has a humanistic, traditional and modern educational philosophy, which is in line with the Hanoi University of Education’s vision of nurturing talents, teachers and experts with a humane spirit, modern thinking and action for the development of the region.

Associate Professor Bui Thi Lam, Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education at Hanoi University of Education, shared her feelings when she came to Saint Vincent University, saying she was very surprised and admired the university for its rich education and steadfast commitment to its goal of providing high-quality education to children without being pressured by the development of science and technology.

“This will allow each child to connect with nature and have a peaceful, happy childhood filled with art,” Lam said.

Lam commented that after a period of cooperation and learning, the training content of Saint Vincent University can be applied to the Hanoi University of Education’s early childhood teacher training program, such as how to teach the subjects in the program, focusing on practical content, and building the learning profile of the subject.

In addition, based on the content of educational training for students, Hanoi University of Education can add activities every week to train educational skills, such as: childcare skills, skills Organize literary and artistic activities: reading poetry, telling stories, using music, art…

In addition, improvements can be applied to the process of organizing practical training and internships for students, such as creating handbooks to guide students in a more scientific and effective manner.

“In particular, Hanoi University of Education and Saint Tuc University can expand and develop many themes such as arts education (especially the visual arts part of the training program), organizing outdoor activities, creative games, connecting kindergartens and primary schools, etc.”

“In terms of inclusive education for children with disabilities, Seiko University has strengths in music education for children with disabilities. This will be a very practical topic for Vietnam’s early childhood education in general and Vietnam’s special education in particular,” Lam said.
