Therefore, in addition to the proposal to remove the ban on 11 streets, the Hanoi Taxi Association has also proposed to the Hanoi People’s Committee to direct relevant units to have mechanisms and solutions to support the removal of the taxi industry. maintaining operations, overcoming the current difficult times, including debt freezing, debt rescheduling, and reducing loan interest rates for taxi businesses.
“Hanoi is recognized by the world as a civilized and peaceful city. Therefore, banning taxis on the streets will cause trouble for tourists coming to Hanoi to visit and travel. Taxi is a type of passenger transport. For public visitors, streets with signs prohibiting parking should be prioritized for taxis to stop and pick up and drop off passengers within 3 minutes; non-prohibited streets should stop for 5 minutes,” the association suggested. with Hanoi.
