Haneen Hosam collapses after confronting her with witnesses: “I want to go to my father and mother”

The Cairo Criminal Court, held in the Fifth Settlement, headed by Counselor Mohamed Ahmed El-Gendy, heard the testimony of witnesses in the trial of the tiktok girl Haneen Hosam, on charges of human trafficking, in the case known in the media as “Tik Tok Girls.”

Haneen Hosam broke down in tears following she finished hearing the witnesses inside the court, and said: “By God, I did not do anything, Lord, I did not need anything. I would go to my father and mother.”

The Criminal Court had sentenced Hanin Hosam in absentia to 10 years in prison.

The “Seventh Day” published the verdict on the defendants, as the court, headed by Counselor Mohamed Ahmed El-Gendy, and the membership of advisers Ayman Abdel-Khaleq and Mohamed Ahmed Sabry, decided to punish the accused, Hanin Hosam in absentia, with a ten-year prison sentence, and punish the defendants, Mawaddah Al-Adham, Mohamed Abdel-Hamid, and Mohamed Alaa, Ahmed Salah was sentenced to six years in prison and a fine of 200,000 Egyptian pounds each, for accusing them all of human trafficking.

The Public Prosecution had decided, earlier, to refer Hanin Hosam, Mawaddah Al-Adham and others to criminal trial; They are accused of human trafficking.

On January 27, the opposition judge of the Abbasiya Court decided to support the release of Hanin Hosam on a bail of 5,000 pounds in accusation in the case, following he rejected the prosecution’s appeal.

The investigations included that the girls appear through the application in a live video broadcast available to all participants in the application, establishing friendship relations and chatting with its followers, taking advantage of the movement ban period during the first wave of Corona in the country and the citizens’ stay in their homes; In return for their promise to get more wages by increasing the breadth of their followers.

According to the referral order, the Public Prosecution accused Haneen Hosam of human trafficking by dealing with natural persons, namely the victims, the two girls “MS” and “H. W.”, who are under the age of 18, and others by using them under the pretext of providing them with job opportunities under the guise of their work. As announcers through one of the electronic applications for social networking, “Like application” that conceals with it calls to incite immorality and temptation to prostitution by inviting them “on a group called Like the Pyramid” that she created on her phone to meet young people through video chats and establish friendships during the period of home isolation, Which is sweeping the world due to the Corona epidemic with the intention of obtaining a material benefit.

The investigations added that the accused exploited the two mentioned girls commercially, by inciting and facilitating them to join one of the electronic applications through which she earns a return for joining the children and creating video clips for them. j. M”, who are under the age of eighteen, filmed videos that accompanied her and posted them on her accounts on social media, taking advantage of their weakness and lack of awareness to obtain a profit from them.
