Handless Kashmiri cricketers, from whom Tendulkar was also influenced

Indian administered Kashmir 34-year-old cricketer Aamir Hussain Lone is missing both his hands, but people admire his courage and courage due to his unique style of playing cricket.

Aamir, who hails from Wagahama village in Anantnag district, was eight years old when he lost both his arms due to an accident in the sawmill at home.

Aamir was fond of cricket since childhood and after losing his arm it was a challenge for him but he did not give up and now he is an example for others.

Bowling with his feet, catching the ball between shoulder and neck is a struggle, but Amir does it all. When they come out for practice during the day, dozens of boys from the area gather to play with them and each of them waits for their bowling.

Due to this accident with Aamir, not only he had to face hardships but his entire family had to bear hardships and they sold the sawmill and other property for Aamir’s treatment.

Eventually, with constant hard work, Aamir became a professional cricketer and excelled in many domestic and international competitions.

Speaking to Independent Urdu, Aamir said: ‘I started my cricketing journey from a degree college and then got an opportunity to play in New Delhi, where people saw my unique style and encouraged me. My bowling and fielding have always been good, so I got an opportunity to play international matches in 2017.’

Aamir represents the Jammu and Kashmir para cricket team, which plays matches in Indian states.

Lately former Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar met Aamir and praised him and gifted him a bat with his signature, which read: ‘Aamir the real hero, keep inspiring people like this.’

Along with playing, Aamir is also inspiring people in his area and conveying the message to his friends that passion is important and the impossible can be made possible through passion.
