On his way to Cheongju Prison, Minister Han Dong-hoon also revealed his plans for the subsequent appointment of the prosecution.

Earlier, since the first appointment of a high-ranking official since the inauguration of Minister Han, the ‘special-tong’ promotion stood out, sparking controversy both inside and outside the prosecution.
However, since the previous personnel were for high-ranking officials at the prosecutor’s level or higher, their personalities are different from those of middle-level or ordinary prosecutors, and there is an opinion that it is natural to place them in the right place for each field this time.
“Professionals in detectives and experts in public security, of course, will go to the necessary parts of the field. There will be no such thing as a specific area of specialization will monopolize the areas of other areas of specialization.”
Minister Han did not specify the timing of the appointment, but emphasized that it is the normal order to end with the ongoing reorganization of the prosecution system.
The Ministry of Justice is in the process of restoring the direct investigation function of the prosecution, which was limited during the last government, and reorganizing the organization to revive the dedicated investigation department.

He also explained that the formation of the recommendation committee is not late compared to the past.
There was also a rebuttal to the point that the reorganization of the prosecution was not in line with the ‘Complete Inspection Act’, which is scheduled to be implemented in September.
“I think the purpose of the legislation is to make the prosecutors do their job properly. It is the job of the Minister of Justice to make administrative regulations such as the Presidential Decree or the Ministry of Justice to support it.”
In addition, the promotion of increasing the number of researchers at the Legal Research and Training Institute drew a line on the interpretation that it is a process for the Ministry of Justice or the prosecution to do their job well and create a position for demotion.
