The Palestinian armed organization “Hamas” recently announced through the pro-Hamas media “Quds TV” in Beirut, Lebanon, that a member of its frogmen unit was killed by Israel in May last year. The murderer has now been arrested by the organization. Is a military-trained dolphin.
The full name is the Islamic Resistance Movement (Ḥarakat al-Muqāwamah al-ʾIslāmiyyah,Islamic Resistance Movement), referred to as Hamas, a Palestinian armed organization that advocates Palestinian national self-determination. It is a member of the Internationally affiliated Sunni right-wing organization “Muslim Brotherhood” and has long been fighting once morest Israel’s armed forces. The most recent large-scale conflict occurred in May 2021. .

Although the dolphins are not included in the film and there is no other relevant evidence other than the weapons on display, the outside world cannot check the accusation, but the military of various countries has been training dolphins and other sea creatures for military missions for decades.
In the 1960s, the U.S. military had ideas regarding dolphin training programs. The U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program began during the Vietnam War, training dolphins and sea lions for underwater reconnaissance, port patrols, mine clearance and other military tasks. Persia Attendance was recorded during the Gulf War and the Iraq War, and as of 2019, a total of 70 dolphins and 30 sea lions are planned to perform missions.
The earliest recorded dolphin training in the Soviet Union appeared in the late 1980s. After the collapse of the Russian navy, the program continued. In recent years, the Crimea crisis and the Syrian war have recorded the Russian navy sending dolphins to perform missions.
Although Israel has never disclosed its marine life training program, the outside world generally believes that it will not give up the use of this asset. According to HI Sutton, an expert in underwater warfare, the weapon shown in the Hamas film should be a harpoon gun specially designed for dolphins. Trained dolphins can indeed harpoon frogmen.

However, the current obstacle to using marine life to assassinate is that it is difficult to train dolphins to distinguish between friends and foes. Sutton pointed out that if Israel believes that only Hamas frogmen will be active in the target sea area, it may still be willing to risk using dolphins to kill the enemy.
Although countries have been training marine creatures for military missions for many years, public perception and pressure from animal protection groups must be considered. Most of the military keep a low profile on these training programs to avoid being forced to give up this weapon due to political pressure.
