Ferrari’s F1 team would like to make a stunt with the arrival of driver Lewis Hamilton. Various foreign media report this. According to the Spanish AS, the Brit would replace Carlos Sainz from 2025, whose contract expires at the end of this year. Italian media are also reporting regarding an upcoming deal.

If the deal goes through, Hamilton will leave his team Mercedes following years. The Brit has been riding for the German racing team since 2013. Since then he has won seven world titles, a record he shares with the German Michael Schumacher.

Ferrari previously extended the contract of Charles Leclerc and seems to want to add Hamilton. It is not known what will happen to Sainz.

Ferrari wants to quickly join Red Bull, which was supreme last F1 season with world champion Max Verstappen. Charles Leclerc ultimately finished fifth, Hamilton third.
