Broadway Across Canada announced Tuesday that Hamilton will be presented in Montreal, in the summer of 2025, as part of a North American tour of the production which will mark ten years since the creation of the musical show in New York.

Based on the biography of Ron Chernow, driven by music that mixes hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton is one of the most influential shows of the last ten years. Still showing in Broadway, with more than 3000 performances under the clockHamilton is an epic saga. The play chronicles the rise and fall of Alexander Hamilton (1757-1804), a politician, financier, intellectual and military officer, Hamilton is considered one of the founding fathers of the United States.
The book, music and lyrics are by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the direction by Thomas Kail, the choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler. In addition to its 11 Tony Awards in 2016, including Best Musical, the play was recognized with Grammy and Olivier Awards, as well as a Pulitzer Prize in Drama, among other honors.
Hamilton will also be presented in Ottawa, at the National Arts Centre, from August 5 to 17, 2025. Tickets will be on sale later. To find out regarding dates and ticketing, you can register on the site de Broadway Across Canada.
