Hamdan bin Zayed receives the delegation of Zayed Higher Organization centers for people of determination

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region, received at Al Nakheel Palace a delegation from the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, headed by Abdullah Abdul Ali Al Humaidan, Secretary General of the Foundation.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the efforts of the Foundation, its programs and initiatives in all areas of care and rehabilitation of various categories of people of determination, especially the centers affiliated to the Foundation in Al Dhafra region.
His Highness was introduced to the numbers of students and associates of the Foundation in its centers in Madinat Zayed, Ghayathi, Al Sila, Delma Island and Al Marfa, in addition to Al Dhafra Club for People of Determination, and the Foundation’s role in providing the finest means of care and rehabilitation for them, and its role in supporting the blind at the state level.
The Secretary-General of the Foundation gave His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan an overview of the international friendly futsal tournament for the deaf, which was held at the ADNOC stadiums in the city of Al Dhanna in Al Dhafra region, during the period from January 23 to 27, with the participation of 6 Arab and foreign sports clubs. During the meeting, the most prominent international and regional sports tournaments organized by the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination in previous years were reviewed, which contributed to introducing the city of Al Dhafra in particular and the sport of people of determination in the UAE in general.
His Highness was also briefed on the achievements of the Department of Welfare for the Blind and its publications in Braille, and the efforts made by the Printing Press for the Blind in the Emirates Red Crescent Authority. A presentation was made regarding the Braille Story Prize, which is sponsored and supported by Sheikh Hazaa bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that people of determination have a special place among the state’s priorities and interests, explaining that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” always emphasize the importance of providing the highest international standards for the efficiency and quality of services and rehabilitation programs in agencies and institutions. concerned with the care, preparation and rehabilitation of people of determination.
His Highness praised the role of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination in the field of humanitarian, educational and rehabilitative services, stressing the importance of empowering and integrating people of determination into society, supporting them and providing them with all aspects of support in addition to the necessary training to develop their skills in order to help them find a job or profession suitable for their tendencies and abilities in the future. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan indicated that the UAE has succeeded in moving people of determination to the stage of empowerment, integration and participation with their peers in society to ensure their future and live a decent life with all their rights.
For his part, Abdullah Abdul-Ali Al-Humaidan presented his highest thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan for receiving the delegation of the Zayed Higher Organization centers for people of determination. He appreciated the generous care and great support from His Highness for those centers.

Al-Humaidan stressed that the sporting achievements of people of determination of both male and female categories in the sports field at all levels show the high capabilities, skills and competencies possessed by these groups in various games, and that what these players have achieved during their local, Arab and international participation in terms of achievements and advanced positions indicates that sport Emirati women in general and at the level of people of determination are on the right path, thanks to the support and care of our wise leadership.”
