Hamburg – When the police tried to stop him, the 18-year-old novice driver simply stepped on the gas!
On Saturday night, two Hamburg police officers were slightly injured in a collision during a pursuit. The officers had tried to stop a young man in a car-sharing vehicle in the Rotherbaum district at around 1:20 a.m. on suspicion of theft, a spokesman for the situation center said.
But the teenager ignored the police’s stop signs and sped away in the Miles Audi at a significantly higher speed. The patrol car crew then began to pursue him.
