The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have revealed shocking details regarding the systematic exploitation of children by the terrorist group Hamas. Captured commanders have provided crucial information during interrogations, revealing the extensive use of minors for tactical purposes in activities linked to the conflict in Gaza.

Israel revealed images of a commander of the terrorist group in which he admits the use of minors: “For example, if someone wants to move an explosive from one place to another, the IDF would shoot if it were an adult. The explosive is then given to a child to carry in a plastic bucket, like the one used to carry vegetables, to hide the explosive. And the child is told: since you are a child, leave this in that house, leave it at the entrance and come back. The boy transports the explosive and returns.”

According to official military sources, Hamas has used children to transport explosives in the midst of urban warfare, further exacerbating the complexity and severity of the situation in the region. Additionally, the group has reportedly sent children on motorcycles to gather intelligence, under the escort of unarmed officers.

These revelations have raised additional concerns regarding the long-standing indoctrination of youth in Gaza, who are being exposed to virulent, anti-Israel ideology from an early age. Experts have highlighted statements by Hamas, Palestinian textbooks and local media that openly glorify violence once morest Israelis, fueling a dangerous narrative among impressionable Palestinian children.

The international community has repeatedly condemned the recruitment of minors to participate in hostilities, and these revelations add an additional level of concern to the already volatile situation in the region.

The IDF also presented on Friday the results of operations in Beit Hanoun, Gaza, where uniforms, weapons and ammunition belonging to minors recruited by Hamas were found. These objects were accompanied by the worrying presence of multiple underground tunnel systems, including one excavated beneath a school.

The Israeli Army and the country’s internal intelligence service, the Shin Bet, estimate that around 200 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad militiamen were detained this last week in Gaza and transferred to Israeli territory.

These “agents,” according to the joint statement, will now be subjected to interrogation by Unit 504 of the Shin Bet and the Directorate of Military Intelligence, according to the statement collected by the Times of Israel.

According to Army estimates, more than 700 militants have been detained and taken to Israeli territory since the beginning of the offensive in Gaza at the end of October.

The Yiftach reserve brigade of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out a decoy shooting incident that led to the evacuation of dozens of terrorists to a building serving as Hamas infrastructure.

After that, the forces directed a fighter jet that attacked the structure and shot down the terrorists.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced that during an operation in the Bakshi neighborhood of Gaza City, it found a cache of weapons hidden in toy boxes in a kindergarten.

According to the spokesperson’s report, dozens of mortar shells, warheads and RPG anti-tank missiles were seized.
