His mother, Orna Neutra added, "We’re hoping that the combined effort will finally make something move,” she continued.
A statement from the Hostages and Missing Families Forum remembers Neutra as a. "warm, optimistic, and people-loving person who ‘lights up the room the moment he enters.” He was loved by his friends and family.
The Hamas attack resulted in the abduction of around 250 individuals.
Roughly 80 hostages were returned following a complicated deal in November 2023. Notably, eight more detainees managed to escape during the Hamas incursion and made a successful return to the Israeli side. Tragically, numerous others have been confirmed dead, while their remains were returned to Israel.
Hamas currently holds approximately 50 living hostages and 50 deceased hostages out of the original 250 captured during the gains. The families of the missing individuals continue to urge their release.
