Nippon Ham announced on the 11th that infielder Haruka Yamada was diagnosed with a lumbar disc herniation at a hospital in Tokyo on the 10th. She will be operated on the 14th at a hospital in Tokushima prefecture. She said she will make another announcement following the surgery.
