The support of Halo Infinite addresses an issue with multiplayer matches downloading more data than usual. According to reports, up to one gigabyte should be possible per match.
Normally, a match should only cost a fraction
User Nicmeistar reports that the game client consumes between 305 and 900 MB of data following each match. That might not sound like much, but it can become a big problem, especially for those who play with a fixed data plan.
After further inspection I found that an average match only uses regarding 11mb.
However. After each match the main menu retrieves regarding 300mb of data from the CDN on PC and Xbox. Which following regarding 2 matches results in over 1GB of network traffic. It’s nuts.https://t.co/Gj4mDwjntR https://t.co/17H9eomjnK
