With Halo Infinite Season 2 fast approaching, 343 Industries has detailed what awaits the Spartans who take up arms on May 3. At the same time, the studio has revealed more information regarding the two most anticipated modes: Forge and campaign co-op.

Rain of content to be expected

343 Industries has stepped up communication regarding Halo Infinite and in particular its multiplayer. The studio unveiled in detail the content of season 2 as the community began to seriously despair. Ititled Lone Wolves, it will mark the arrival of two new cards as well as several game modes. Additionally, 343 Industries has just shared its roadmap for rolling out future content.

We thus find the dates of the program for this season 2 which will begin on May 2 with the King of The Hill, Land Grab and Last Spartan Standing modes, as well as the arrival of the Catalyst and Breaker cards, respectively for the Arena and Big modes. Team Battle. 343 Industries also explains that it is implementing a new 100-tier Battle Pass like the previous one, while the recurring Fracture events will return, this time under the title Entrenchedwith the first week starting on May 24.

Finally, we will remember a new narrative mode featuring our Spartan which might be similar to the Spec Ops mode of Call of Duty. But more than this few information already partially confirmed, 343 Industries also tease us the arrival of the two long-awaited modes: the coop campaign and the Forge, the famous sandbox mode of Halo.

Coop and Forge finally back, season 3 presented in brief

Fans have been asking for them since launch: Co-op and Forge are coming soon. You will still have to wait a bit, since the two modes are announced for the end of August and September respectively. What’s more, 343 Industries specifies that the Forge will be launched in beta in order to collect feedback from the community and refine its mechanics over time. At the end of August, players will also have the opportunity to replay campaign missions. Finally, note that these dates are estimates: 343 Industries still reserves the right to postpone the release of these new game modes.

For the sake of transparency, the studio in charge of Halo also tells us the content planned for season 3. Without going into details, we learn that this next season will add maps, an additional Battle Pass, game modes, and additional narrative and Fracture events. Finally, the local co-op mode will also be added for the third season. The launch date? Next November 8. 343 Industries does not intend to rush things and wishes above all to offer its title a lasting longevity.
