Following the announcement of 343 Industries to stop working on split-screen co-op, fans were a bit disappointed. But certain pointed fingers that it is already possible to play in co-op in split screen on Xbox as well on Series S/X as sur Xbox One. To do this, you have to use a bug in the game that you activate via a sequence of operations precise.
Playing this way may corrupt your saves but other than that everything works. It is even possible to play 4 in co-op in split screen, a first in the history of Halo. The most surprising thing is that this bug is known for eight months and has never been patched. And now that 343 Industries has announced that they are dropping the case, fixing the bug would make them look like bad guys on top of already looking like incompetents.
