Live now through May 6, this update brings new content, customization options, and a deeper exploration of the Forerunner legacy. players will have the chance to “reclaim what was lost” and fight for the “grace of the Mantle,” a reference to the Forerunners’ self-appointed role as guardians of the galaxy.
The Forerunners, once the galaxy’s caretakers, have left behind manny secrets in the form of sacred rings, colossal installations, mysterious artifacts and devastating military technology.Operation: Forerunner places these elements front and center offering players a chance to immerse themselves in this ancient civilization’s lore.
Free Operation Pass & Premium Rewards
The centerpiece of Operation: Forerunner is the free 20-tier Operation Pass, offering players a chance to unlock the Prefect armor, a fan-favorite from Halo 4.This armor set has been “reverse-engineered from the combat skin of the Forerunner Prefect class” and “adapted and reforged for a new chapter in Spartan excellence.” Completing all 20 tiers of the operation pass will prove your worth of the title, causing your foes to tremble before you.

Fuel Rod SPNKr
A devastating combination of UNSC and Banished technology, the Fuel Rod SPNKr is creating chaos in multiplayer matches. Modified to fire fuel rod munitions, this new take on a covenant classic is available as a power weapon on maps and can be spawned in Forge.According to 343 Industries, “Six shots from this rowdy rod-thrower should give ‘em something to think about.”

Releasing April 10, a new waypoint Chronicle will delve deep into the lore surrounding the Forerunners and humanity’s ancient past.
