Why Joseph Staten It is not known who is leaving Microsoft following nine years, but it is confirmed: He is leaving the company that is behind the Halo franchise on which he has worked extensively – most recently as Head of Creative at Halo Infinite.

“We are grateful for Joseph’s contributions to the Halo franchise and Xbox as a whole,” a Microsoft spokesperson told IGN.com. “We wish him all the best in his new adventure.”

Staten commented on that IGN.com report on twitter:

“Hey guys, I’m actually leaving Microsoft. I’ll have more information to share soon, but for now I just want to thank all my Xbox colleagues for all their understanding and support as I embark on a new adventure.”
