Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital announced on the 23rd that it had visited the Pyeongchon Xi I Park apartment together with the Gyeonggi Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross on the 5th and held a blood donation event.
Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital, together with Gyeonggi Blood Center, held a blood donation event for 2,531 households in Pyeongchon Zai I’Park Apartments to help the situation where blood reserves have plummeted due to the prolonged spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Residents of the apartment actively participated in the event following hearing the news that blood donations were reduced and that blood supply was difficult. From high school students who came to donate blood with their parents for the first time, to residents who visited during lunchtime while working, the interest and participation of residents in the blood donation event, which started at 9 am, continued.
Hospital Director Yoo Kyung-ho said, “The amount of blood in the blood supply has plummeted to such an extent that there are patients who have to postpone the date of surgery due to insufficient blood for transfusion. He said, “I would like to thank the residents who participated in the blood donation during a difficult time of blood supply.
Meanwhile, Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital, as the only high-level general hospital in Anyang, Gunpo, Uiwang, and Gwacheon, is doing its best to promote the health of residents in the blind spot by expanding social contribution activities as part of ESG management.
