A drunk driver caused a lot of body damage in Hallein on Wednesday night. That’s what the police reported.
According to the report, several callers had informed the police on Wednesday night that a car was driving in a snaky line on the B 159 (Salzachtalstraße) and had already caused various traffic accidents.
A police patrol was deployed. And they actually found the car they were looking for near the described accident sites. The driver, a 54-year-old local woman, was lying next to her car with a bleeding wound on her head.
Reason for the injury: When the woman got out of her car, she tripped over a traffic sign she had previously brought down. And there was an explanation for that as well. Because an alcohol test in the woman showed a value of 2.22 per mille.
No other people were injured as a result of the accident. Whether other accidents were caused by the driver in the area is the subject of the survey.
