Shocking new incident of domestic violence in Halikidiki, with a 28-year-old woman as the victim and her 39-year-old partner as the perpetrator. He swore at her, threatened her, hit her with his belt and punched her in front of their children.
The incident of domestic violence started at 6 pm on Friday (19.07.2024) on the beach of Nea Moudania in Halkidiki, where they lived.
There, according to information, the couple had a fight and the 39-year-old insulted and threatened her.
But when they returned home a few hours later, the situation got out of control. Around 9pm and inside their own house, the 39-year-old started beating his 28-year-old partner across her body with the belt of his trousers and then punched her several times in the face, causing her serious injuries.
And all this happened in front of the frightened eyes of their three minor children. And as if all that wasn’t enough, he then threatened to harm her with a knife he was holding.
According to information, the previous day, Thursday (18.07.2024) at 9 pm, the 39-year-old also attacked their 7-year-old child, kicking and hitting him in the face with cuffs.
According to what the 28-year-old girl testified to the police, this is not the first time she has been abused by her partner, as she says this has been happening systematically for the last 8 years.
At noon on Saturday (20.07.2024) and after the last incident, the 28-year-old found the courage to go to the New Moudania Police Station and file a lawsuit against her partner for insult and domestic violence, while the 39-year-old was arrested.
