Halkidiki: “I refused to buy the machine, it was scrap metal”

Halkidiki: “I refused to buy the machine, it was scrap metal”

The new information regarding the amusement park of death in Halkidiki is shocking, with the owner of another amusement park making very serious complaints to the SKAI camera.

More specifically, his statements were revealing as he states that the fatal toy was intended for scrap metal and that when he was offered to buy it, he refused: “It was scrap metal, I wouldn’t put people on it.”

He then claims that for 250 euros one can get a certificate of good operation regardless of the condition of the machines. The well-known businessman in the field, who wishes to remain anonymous, emphasized that he wanted to speak out to denounce unacceptable conditions and practices that have existed for decades as, as he said, “the abscess has to burst at some point”.

Regarding the machine in which 19-year-old Yannis tragically died a few days ago, the businessman revealed that he had been suggested to buy it by a certain businessman. He went to Katerini to check it out and saw it both in operation and while it was being scrapped: “I would never have people sit on that pile of scrap metal,” he adds.

“I will do everything to punish them”

The father of the 19-year-old deceased Yannis shocks once again with his strength and his determination to reveal the truth.

In particular, he spoke to the MEGA camera and initially said: “I am fighting because I know very well the way the mechanism works, how justice works, services from the organized state. I am trying with my own people, with my own evidence to help the prosecution, the justice to reach the result faster and to finally prosecute all those who in my opinion for no reason should be free today”.

He then added: “Now I am trying in my own way with my own sacrifices and in the memory of my child to hasten all this by doing whatever is necessary to punish those who do not count people’s lives.

“I don’t want to swear too much to God it’s holy and now that we delivered our child there. It is even more sacred. But no one will escape me. I will crush them by all means. The people pay for this system. He is bleeding with the 800 euros and “we take you and the children whenever we want”, let Mr. Mitsotakis go and implement it in Uganda. This is Greece, here we send our children to be educated, we struggle and pay tens of thousands in taxes every month leaving the crumbs to raise our children”.

Regarding whether he was given explanations, he emphasized that justice was “invisible”: “No one, not even the elementary part of the support, which the Greek government pays millions in psychological support to my two children. Who were present at my child’s crime. Where they saw their brother with his skull split open. Dead in two seconds. There is no one I have the courage and also the audacity to speak of an infinite vagrancy.”

The life of this unfortunate man changed forever from the moment he was told on the phone what happened to his child: “His mother called me and screamed, ‘Giorgos, our child has been killed.’ They killed our child’. And directly my second son picked up the phone and said ‘Dad, Giannis called’. He tried to keep me cool “but he’s breathing, he’s hit too hard.” Then someone else picked up the phone, he told me don’t worry, we are here with the family. No one told me that the child was lost.”
