Sebastien Pineau is a young soccer player of only 19 years of age who has the chance to represent different teams due to his multiple nationality. He was born in Santiago de Chile, but his mother is Peruvian and his father is French. Although they have not communicated with him from the European country, he has had experiences in the ‘Old Continent’.

Pineau was first considered by the Sub 20 of Peruwhere he played several games, but also had the opportunity to put on the shirt of Chile and play in front of their fans. “Nice experience, great team and beautiful country,” he posted on social media at the time.

Now, the striker who is being compared to Edinson Cavani must announce which team he will play for, with the South American 2023 that will be played in Colombia very close. And, apparently, he would have chosen the Peruvian team.

“He was summoned by both teams (Peru and Chile) and I told him that he has to decide, it is a sentimental issue for him. So, the boy told me emphatically that he wants to play for the Peruvian national team”, revealed Gustavo Roverano to ‘Charla Técnica’.

Argentina echoed this news and Diario Olé, for example, published the following: “Peru ‘stole’ the new Cavani from Chile. Sebastien Pineau chose to play for the Inca Under 20 team following wearing the Red shirt”.
