“Half a life”: This is what Christina Sturmer’s new song sounds like

Today, Friday, Christina Sturm released a new song once more following a long time: In “Half a Life” she looks back on her 20-year career in show business, “when my dream began to run on its own.” The song was created last year when the 41-year-old from Altenberg near Linz celebrated her 20th anniversary. It has become a more conventional pop ballad in which Christina Sturm’s trademark, her distinctive voice, really comes into its own. The song is available in two versions: as a studio version and as a live track, which she recorded at her acclaimed MTV unplugged concert in the Vienna Volkstheater in August last year.

From April 12th Christina Sturmer is going on tour in Germany, there are two dates in Austria: The tour kicks off on April 12th at the Rockhouse Salzburg, and one day later she can be heard at the Gasometer in Vienna. There is currently no Upper Austria date.
