Halevy sends a message to the Israeli army from central Gaza

Gaza – Israeli Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevy announced during a visit to the central Gaza Strip that the Israeli army is operating in many arenas and we have many missions that must be achieved.

Yesterday evening, Friday, Halevy visited the central Gaza Strip, where he assessed the situation and made a field tour, accompanied by the commander of the southern region, Yaron Finkelman, the commander of the 99th Division, Barak Hiram, and a number of commanders of the reserve forces operating in the central Gaza Strip.

Halevy said, “We are approaching two weeks, interspersed with several days of great significance, namely the commemoration of the Nazi Holocaust and Jewish heroism, then a week later the commemoration of the martyrs of the IDF and security forces, and Independence Day that follows.”

He added: “During the current year, we have witnessed many casualties among the ranks of the IDF, in addition to many civilians who were killed in the events that occurred. This fact makes us, as an army, bear either the great responsibility or the burden of remembering and thinking regarding drawing lessons for the future, meaning how to gather strength towards the future and the necessity of realizing the fact that the price we paid, in parallel with the measures to complete the necessary lessons, is a price that we must be prepared to pay from “In order to stay here in the future as well, so that all concerned parties around us realize the extent of our determination and determination to be here.”

He continued: “The IDF operates in many arenas – in the north, south, and the areas of Judea and Samaria with regard to ground forces, while operations take place in more distant arenas and in various methods and methods.
