Hala Sidky on the criticism of the Jaafar El-Omda series due to polygamy: Is religion not an analyst?

Actress Hala Sidqi said that she did not expect the character “Safsaf” that she presents in the series “Jaafar Al-Omda” to achieve such great success, following it was shown in the Ramadan season.

And she added, during statements to the “ET in Arabic” program, on Monday evening, that what was implemented on the screen was 10 times what was written in the script, commenting: “I knew that the role might succeed, but when I entered the studio, I did not know how the character would remain functional.”

She praised the role of director Mohamed Sami in the success of the character, adding: “He was the only one who knew and imagined the character going where, and he said that this character will break the world.”

She mentioned that “Sami” is an unparalleled director who is completely different from those she had previously collaborated with, saying that he loves the actor, and represents the scene so that the artist knows how to present it.

Regarding the criticism directed at the series due to polygamy, she commented: “Is religion not an analyst? Well, we will talk to people and tell them what,” according to her expression.

She pointed out that the female artists participating in the series are stars that no one was able to appreciate and give them their due, describing the artist Mohamed Ramadan as a mature, simple and beautiful person.

And she went on: “I love him very much, he is beautiful, simple, cooperative, loves his colleagues, is kind, and listens, not a dictator.
