Hajdúböszörmény was awarded the title of Humanitarian settlement

Starting this year, Hajdúböszörmény can proudly bear the title of Humanitarian settlement, which it won for five years – shared on his social media page the municipality. Every year, the Hungarian Red Cross announces a tender for Hungarian settlements and municipalities to receive this recognition. The purpose of the tender is to respect the principles and ideals of the Hungarian Red Cross, as well as to recognize the communities that actively participate in the realization of the organization’s goals. The National Management of the Hungarian Red Cross recognizes the social and health system of Hajdúböszörmény as a Humanitarian settlement, as well as the community organizations and the active work of the Hajdúböszörmény Territorial Organization of the Hungarian Red Cross. The official award ceremony will be held on May 25 in Ikervár.
