Haiti adopted a similar position on Wednesday, in the restart of trade, although limited, arranged by the Dominican Government through what it called “commercial corridors”, under strong security controls.

In brief statements to the press this Friday, the mayor of Dajabón, Santiago Riverón, said that “everything is clear” for the restart of the market, but that Haitians have not been able to cross because the neighboring country did not open the border gate. , so the market is carried out with a few Dominicans.
