Haifa Wehbe’s movie was withdrawn from Egyptian theaters

The company distributing the movie “Ghosts of Europe” by the Lebanese artist, Haifa Wehbe, submitted a request to the Chamber of Film Industry to withdraw the film from Egyptian theaters.

According to what private sources told her, the company wrote in its request that the reason for its decision to withdraw the film is that it intends to show it on the Shahid platform on the 25th of this December, but the real reason is that the film did not achieve satisfactory revenues for the distribution company, which prompted her to make this decision to take advantage of his offer on the platform.

The Chamber of Film Industry had announced the list of revenues of the movie “Ghosts of Europe” throughout its screening period, which lasted for regarding three months, as reports confirmed that the film achieved nearly three million pounds only, and that this is considered the weakest revenue for the films of the season, as it was achieving on the day The one is regarding a thousand pounds only, a week following its presentation.
