And the producers of the movie published a poster for it, announcing that it will be shown in Eid al-Fitr next. None of the co-stars appeared on the poster, which included landmarks from Paris and Egypt.
A source within the film’s team confirmed to The New Arab that the poster is not the last, indicating that it will be followed in the coming days by several posters showing each of the film’s protagonists individually, in addition to a final poster that includes all the co-stars.
The film suffered due to many postponements and delays, starring: Haifa Wehbe, Muhammad Salam, Hamdi Al-Mirghani, Mustafa Khater, and Muhammad Tharwat. The scenario was written by Karim Hassan Bashir, and directed by Ahmed Khaled Moussa.
The events revolve, in a comic framework, around the movement of a group of Egyptians from Ramses to Paris. The journey includes many events, which reach their climax when the film’s protagonists decide to form a gang to steal the Mona Lisa from the Louvre Museum.
Haifa Wehbe’s last cinematic participation was in the movie “Ghosts of Europe”, which was shown in Egypt and a number of Arab countries, and is now shown on digital platforms.
