Hai Phong City People’s Committee has just issued Decision 372/QD-UBND on consolidation Steering Committee for Anti-Terrorism city. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of the City People’s Committee is the Chairman.
Mr. Vu Thanh Chuong, Director of Hai Phong City Police is the Standing Deputy Head of the Committee; Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, Commander of the City Military Command; Mr. Dao Quang Truong, Deputy Director of City Public Security is the Deputy Head of the Department; along with 23 members who are leaders of relevant departments, branches and units.

The Steering Committee performs the tasks and powers specified in the Government’s Decree No. 07/2014/ND-CP dated January 27, 2014 on the organization, tasks, powers and coordination relationship of the Steering Committee. anti-terrorism at all levels, assisting the City People’s Committee in directing the implementation of anti-terrorism work; plans and plans to deal with terrorism cases, and overall plans to deal with illegal acts of interference in civil aviation activities.

The members of the Steering Committee work on a part-time basis and as assigned by the Head of the Steering Committee; may use the organization, apparatus, cadres, civil servants and public employees of the agency or unit in charge to perform assigned tasks. The City Police is the standing agency of the Steering Committee.
