Speaking on a private TV program after the match, Pakistan cricket team captain Muhammad Hafeez criticized the performance of Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan and described his captaincy as very poor.

Mohammad Hafeez said that a captain is not only a performer as a batsman or a bowler, but he also wins the match with his strategy, but today was a bad day for Shadab, his wrong decision lost the match.

The former captain said that he did not come to bat when the team needed him, if he had come, Islamabad’s runs could have gone much further, but Shadab’s decision showed that he could come in to bat wherever he wanted. And withdraw your number whenever you want.

He said that the strategy adopted by Shadab Khan as captain in the match was very bad, while on the other side, the strategy and performance of Multan Sultans captain Muhammad Rizwan was much better than him.

It should be noted that Islamabad United had a victorious start to PSL 9 by defeating Lahore Qalandar by 8 wickets in the opening match of the event.
