Hackers who stole over a terabyte of NVIDIA data have demanded the company release the source code for drivers for its products. This was reported by the Chinese portal MyDrivers.
If NVIDIA does not agree to these conditions, the attackers threaten to leak detailed drawings and diagrams of all the company’s products to the network. And this applies to both already released GPUs and the next generation. Representatives of NVIDIA noted that they would not respond to these requirements and plan to resolve the issue in the legal field.
Previously NVIDIA published a report for fiscal year 2022. During this period, the company earned $ 26.9 billion, which is a record for the company’s revenue in history. NVIDIA’s net income from January 30, 2021 to January 30, 2022 was $9.7 billion, up 125% year-over-year.
