Austria’s table tennis aces will fight twice for EM gold on Thursday: Daniel Habesohn and Robert Gardos will play at 6:10 p.m. in their fifth EM doubles final for their third EM gold following 2012 and 2018. The ÖTTV duo defeated in the semifinals the French Alexis and Félix Lebrun still safely 3:1 (-3,7,8,6) following a botched start. And Sofia Polcanova also reached the final with her Romanian partner Bernadette Szocs (7 p.m.).
Habesohn/Gardos meet a duo from Sweden, because Mattias Falck/Kristian Karlsson later played once morest their compatriots Jon Persson/Anton Källberg in the second semi-final.
