“Haaretz” from diplomatic sources: The proposal approved by the Palestinian faction movement is similar to the proposal approved by Israel.

Israel – The Hebrew newspaper “Haaretz”, citing Israeli diplomatic sources, confirmed yesterday, Monday, that the proposal approved by the Al-Fasal movement is similar to the proposal approved by Israel.

According to the foreign diplomatic source who participated in this step, the proposal is essentially identical to the Egyptian proposal, to which Israel has already responded.

A second diplomatic source told the Hebrew newspaper that “the ball is now in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s court.”

Since Sunday evening, CIA Director William Burns and Qatari Prime Minister Abdul Rahman Al Thani have held several meetings in which a new formula was found on the basis of the proposal, and it was this that enabled Hamas’s positive response to break through.

The Al-Fasal movement announced on Monday evening that it had informed the Qatari and Egyptian mediators of its approval of their proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

She said in a statement: “The Mujahid Brother Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Al-Fasal Movement, made a telephone call with the Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, and with the Egyptian Minister of Intelligence, Mr. Abbas Kamel, and informed them of the Al-Fasal Movement’s approval of their proposal regarding the ceasefire agreement.”

The leader of the Al-Fasal movement, Taher Al-Nono, stated: “We agreed to a proposal that includes a ceasefire, reconstruction, the return of the displaced, and the liberation of prisoners.”

In addition, an Israeli army spokesman announced that all proposals related to negotiations for the release of prisoners in Gaza are being seriously studied, stressing that the army is continuing its operations in the Strip in parallel.
