Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, Borussia Dortmund striker, dealt a major blow to the dreams of Joan Laporta, Barcelona president, next season.
And Radio Catalonia reported in the last hours that Laporta had told some close people that he was on his way to contract with Halland next summer.
The German newspaper “Sport Bild” responded that Haaland only wants to play for Real Madrid in the new season, and dreams of creating an era similar to what Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo achieved with Real Madrid.
Laporta had also stated, in a recent press conference, that Barcelona’s contract with Halland is possible, and the administration is working to adjust the salary list to facilitate the deal. Haaland has a contract with Dortmund until the summer of 2024, but a penalty clause allows him to leave next summer.
