Norway’s Erling Haaland and Spain’s Aitana Bonmati saw their season rewarded with the title of best UEFA player and player of the year on Thursday in Monaco.
The No. 9 of Manchester City, who receives this distinction for the first time in his career, had an exceptional season with his club, which offered a historic treble cup / championship / Champions League.

On the women’s side, it was the Dutch Sarina Wiegman, who took the English selection to the final of the 2023 World Cup, who was crowned, before dedicating her prize to all the players of La Roja.
