Several models of ice creams of the Häagen-Dazs brand were withdrawn from sale in France last Friday, due to the presence of a carcinogenic compound. This Thursday, it is Belgium’s turn to alert on these same products.
The manufacturer of ice cream, the American group General Mills, noted during a check the presence of traces of 2-Chloroéthanol (2CE)which is an indicator for the presence of ethylene oxide in a batch of products Häagen-Dazsspecifies the FASFC in a press release.
