For more than three decades, “Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten” has been an integral part of RTL’s programming. But now those in charge are turning their attention to the next generation – in the form of a spin-off, which, as we know, has been filming since May. It has now been announced that “GZSZ” legend Wolfgang Bahro will also appear in the soap spin-off “Uferpark – Gute Zeiten, wilde Zeiten”.
In addition to Bahro, who has played the lawyer Jo Gerner in “Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten” since 1993, Martin Bretschneider (“Das Wunder von Bern”), Andrea Cleven (“Alles was zählt”) and Ilona Schulz (“Löwenzahn”) are also part of the ensemble, which complements the main cast with six young talents.
And this is what it’s about: When Prof. Dr. Dr. Hans Joachim “Jo” Gerner (Wolfgang Bahro) began practicing as a lawyer after completing his studies, an early case led him to the Uferpark in Berlin. His clients at the time: Flo (Martin Bretschneider) and Sandra (Andrea Cleven), the owners of the area, who signed over a third of the property to him due to a lack of money. Now the skate park, a prime piece of land on the Spree, is to be sold at great expense to a real estate shark, but a group of teenagers are opposed to it. The young people receive support from Ora Dora (Ilona Schulz), a fun-loving older lady who keeps the whole Kollekiez on its toes and allies herself with the skater crew.
The new series spin-off of “Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten” will be broadcast from November on RTL+ and on the children’s channel Toggo. However, an exact broadcast date has not yet been announced.
