This rare condition compels caregivers to fabricate ⁣or induce illness ⁢in ​those under their care. after her release‌ in December 2023,⁤ Blanchard ⁤reunited with‍ Urker,⁣ her former fiancé. ‌She had previously been married to Ryan Anderson,‍ but filed for divorce in April 2024. **Archyde:** Your ⁣story has been incredibly well-documented, ⁣and your past experiences have been the subject of much public discussion. How do you navigate those conversations now, especially as‌ a‌ new mother?



**Gypsy Rose:** It’s ⁣crucial to me to continue‍ owning my narrative and sharing my perspective.



Becoming a⁣ mother has given me a deeper understanding of love ‌and protection, and I want to use my platform to advocate for victims of Munchausen syndrome by proxy and raise awareness about this ⁢complex issue.



**Archyde:** You recently published ⁢your memoir. What compelled you to share your story⁤ in such a personal and vulnerable way?



**Gypsy Rose:** Writing the memoir was cathartic. It allowed me to process my past and find my voice. My hope is that my story can help others who have experienced similar traumas and show⁤ them that healing is possible.



**Archyde:** Looking ahead, what are your aspirations for you and your daughter’s future?





**Gypsy Rose:** I simply ‍want ‍to create⁣ a loving and supportive ⁤environment for Aurora. I want⁣ her to have the childhood ⁢I never had, filled with laughter, joy, and unconditional love.

**Gypsy Rose:** Ken and I share a deep love for the northern lights, and Aurora seemed like the perfect name to symbolize that beauty and wonder.



**Host:** Your journey has been incredibly complex and publicly documented. From the abuse you suffered at the hands of your mother to your imprisonment and eventual release, you’ve faced immense challenges. how are you feeling now, embarking on this new journey as a mother?



**Gypsy Rose:** It’s certainly been a long road, but motherhood is bringing a sense of peace and purpose I haven’t felt before.Aurora is a symbol of hope and new beginnings for me.



**Host:** Many people are familiar with your story. For those who may not be, can you briefly share what led to your incarceration?



**Gypsy Rose:** My mother suffered from Munchausen syndrome by Proxy, a rare condition where a caregiver fabricates or induces illness in those under their care. for years, I was subjected to medical abuse and manipulation by her. Ultimately, we got involved in a situation that resulted in her death, which led to my imprisonment.



**Host:** You’ve spoken about finding love and support with Ken. How has his presence been a source of strength for you through these incredibly challenging experiences?



**gypsy Rose:** Ken has been my rock. He believed in me and stood by me through it all. He’s an amazing father to Aurora, and I’m so grateful to have him in my life.



**Host:** you have been very open about your experiences on platforms like YouTube, sharing your story with the world. What message do you hope to convey to others who may be going through similar struggles?



**Gypsy Rose:** I want people to know that they’re not alone. There is hope, and help is available. I also want to raise awareness about Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy. It’s a risky condition that can have devastating consequences.



**Host:** What are your hopes and dreams for Aurora’s future?



**Gypsy Rose:** I want her to have a happy and healthy childhood, surrounded by love and support. And most importantly, I want her to know that she is strong, resilient, and capable of achieving anything she sets her mind to.
