Cara Delevingne has admitted that people find her “a little weird”.
The 29-year-old model and actress attended the Billboard Music Awards with Megan Thee Stallion in May and footage from the event went viral after she suddenly appeared as the 27-year-old rapper posed on the red carpet to throw the drag of her friend’s dress in the air. She was then spotted lying on the ground taking photos of a group including the ‘Hot Girl Summer’ singer, Doja Cat and Fat Joe.
Cara insisted her behavior was nothing out of the ordinary and she felt no “shame” for the attention she got.
While on the ‘Tonight Show’, host Jimmy Fallon asked Cara about that night and she replied, “I was in Las Vegas with friends, and I made a mistake: ‘I was in Vegas with friends, I really wanted to see [Megan] play and she asked me to come with her. »
She continued, “I didn’t know I was going to sit or do anything, I thought I was just going to come and watch her play. She had a speech to give because she was going to win a prize, so I helped her rehearse her text. »
She added: “I walked in, I had a front row seat, and I thought to myself that I was not made to be there. »
Discussing why she was lying down to take pictures of Megan and her friends, Cara added, “That’s what I do. I was just really excited… I was living my best life, but people thought it was kinda weird. People think I’m a little weird, but that’s me. No shame. »
